Dr. Chiasson strongly believes that Bariatric Surgery will continue to evolve with the development of new techniques and new technology with the goal of greatly reducing or eliminating the trauma related to surgery. Moreover, as we expand our mission to treat more than obesity and become the primary treatment option for obese patients with Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, NASH syndrome, severe Osteoarthritis, and certain types of cancer, it is his hope that patients come away from their surgical experience feeling that they have received “cutting edge” surgical care within the context of a compassionate, patient focused surgical practice.
