Southern Arizona Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, PC opened in 2002 in Tucson, AZ. Patrick Chiasson, MD and Stephen Burpee, MD are Board Certified General Surgeons with additional subspecialty fellowship training in Minimally Invasive Surgery. Their surgical interests include the application of advanced laparoscopic, endoluminal, and other new techniques to manage diseases of the colon and rectum, solid organ conditions, and diseases of the esophagus and stomach with a special interest in weight loss surgery. Dr. Burpee and Dr. Chiasson offer three weight loss surgery procedures including vertical sleeve gastrectomy, adjustable gastric band and gastric bypass.
